Who we are
Our website address is https://gameexperiments.com and is hosted by Hostinger. The website is built using Hugo (a static site generator) though we may switch back to WordPress if our site grows
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.
Cookies
We use a third party free comment service SmartForms. If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and URL for spam detection purposes. These are for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last up to one year. (The actual setting may be lower).
If you visit our site, we may set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
If you edit or publish or read an article, an additional cookie may be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited or read.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, pages, etc.). Embedded content from other websites, like YouTube, behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These other websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
The contact-us form contains a embedded form from SmartForms and it forwards all communications to the admin.

What rights do you have over your data?
If you have left comments etc., you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Currently, you can make this request through the Contact page.
Where your data is sent
Currently we do not require your data as we do not track you. It is possible though that site tracking data is on, and that Hostinger will use cookies and keep a trace of site visitors. Your personal data is not included in that. If it is a concern then use a VPN and delete browsing cookies - be careful when deleting as sign in data is often stored that way for sites where you do log in, and don’t want to log in every time.
